Interior and Bed

This five-passenger pickup has a roomy cabin despite having a substantial bed. With nearly 110 cubic feet of passenger space, leather trim, soft-touch materials, and a spacious center console with storage, it's the ultimate road trip truck. For your more utilitarian needs, the rear seats fold 60/40 split so you can fit long items like lumber or skis.

The 2017 Ridgeline's truck bed is a tailgater's dream come true. The RTL-E and Black Edition models have a standard 540-watt Truck Bed Audio System that you can control via Bluetooth connectivity or the Display Audio console inside. Truck bed lights keep your party lit and an In-Bed Trunk with drain plugs can double as 7.3-cubic-foot storage or a cooler for drinks. Rounding out the tailgate-worthy features are a side-swinging tailgate for easy loading and available 150- to 400-watt power outlets.


The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the 2017 Ridgeline a Top Safety Pick+*. It earned perfect scores in all crash tests conducted by the organization, including roof strength, rear crash, side impact, and moderate and small front overlap impact.

All models of the Ridgeline feature Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake distribution, brake assist, multi-angle rearview camera with gridlines, tire pressure monitoring system, and daytime running lights. It also has available Honda Sensing active driver assist technologies, including Collision Mitigation Braking and Road Departure Mitigation.


With seven available trims (starting with the base RT, RTS, Sport, RTL, RTL-T, RTL-E, and Black Edition) there's a model of Ridgeline for you. All models feature Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and Streaming Audio, MP3 and auxiliary jack, Radio Data System, speed-sensitive volume, 5-inch LCD screen, and at least a 7-speaker, 200-watt audio system with subwoofer.

Available entertainment features include a 225-watt audio system with subwoofer, 540-watt audio with eight speakers and a subwoofer, 8-inch high-resolution display, Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with Voice Recognition, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SMS text function, Sirius XM Radio, HD Radio, and Pandora capability.


The 2017 Ridgeline is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that churns out 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. It can tow from 3,500 to 5,000 pounds, depending on the model you choose, and gets up to 26 MPG**. Drivers can choose between front- or all-wheel drive.
